I had this past weekend off, which I have always worked retail and have never really had a problem with working Saturdays, but after this weekend I decided it is really nice to have weekends off! It was nice to spend some quality time with Kevin, because during the week he has work and school, so we only see each other in a couple of hour increments. We decided we would get some spring cleaning done around the house, so our main focus was organizing the storage unit. About a year ago Kevin had bought a storage system from IKEA and we finally put it to its full use! Kevin really did an amazing job and it is so nice to have an organized storage until where it is easy to store and find things. We also took a bunch of stuff from there and our closets to D.I. It was such a beautiful day Saturday and we also spent some time window shopping around town as well. Saturday night we got together with Kevin's friends and made pizzas and played games, it was a great weekend! Here is the results of the finished product this photo doesn't really do it justice, it is amazing, I wish I would have taken some before shots, you couldn't even walk in there before!

That's so funny, Sky just barely reorganized our storage unit too!! Spring cleaning is the best, I feel so great after it! It's funny how much stuff you can accumulate that you don't use huh? Glad you had a great weekend!
Oh, spring cleaning. I love spring cleaning. It's so satisfying! We've been working on it the past few weekends - just trying to do a bit at a time so it isn't overwhelming.
