Recipes

Some of you may know that I love to cook. I love to try new recipes and plan out menus. A few months back I had a recipe party where everyone brought a dish to share and the recipe to go with it. I was thinking of having another one, with summer recipes, and was wondering if anyone would be interested and what days work best? Also, I am looking for a good pico de gallo and oatmeal cookie recipe if anyone would like to share!

If I gave you diamonds and pearls...

I just need to write a quick post to brag about what a wonderful husband I have. As we all know yesterday was Mother's Day and I chose to boycott this particular holiday. Don't get me wrong I love my Mother and Mother-in-law, but do to some recent circumstances that I am not quite ready to go in to detail about, I did not feel like acknowledging this particular day. Kevin knew that was the case, but he still chose to be amazing and gave me a sweet card (that made me cry) and a 65" strand of pearls with matching pearl earrings from the Shane Co. He gave them to me on Saturday night and Sunday I worked all day. When I got home from work on Sunday there were 2 dinners made, one for that night and one for later in the week, and the house was clean! I told him he won husband of the year award! I am truly blessed to have married such a sweet, thoughtful, hardworking man.
